Saskatoon Farm Engagement - Elizabeth & Freddy - Calgary Wedding Photographer

I was thrilled when Elizabeth and Freddy chose Saskatoon Farm for their engagement session. They were uncertain of locations when we first started chatting; Elizabeth knew she didn't want photos in the mountains and wasn't sold on an "Urban" engagement either. So when she mentioned her love of plants, natural elements and greenhouses - I knew that Saskatoon Farm was the perfect location. And they agreed! :)

It was a HOT day to say the least (especially in the greenhouses!) But Elizabeth and Freddy were troopers. Focused only on their love and enjoying the session - it couldn't have been a more perfect session.

One of the things I love about the farm is that there are so many unique locations in one place. It may not have mountains; but it has everything else! And as you can see, Elizabeth and Freddy's styles' were suited perfectly to this beautiful, natural location.

This old road that is hidden towards the back of the farm is one of my favorite spots of life! It not only provides a beautiful background for photos, but for some reason it reminds me to slow down and appreciate the simpler things.

Elizabeth & Freddy did a little outfit change there, did you see? :)

These two are so in love. So connected. And they laughed and smiled the entire time. I love when couples can just let go of their nerves (which we all get in front of the camera) and just focus on each other.

Sadly, these two had to postpone their wedding. BUT I know without a doubt that when they do get married, it will be an incredibly memorable day. And they will be so happy to celebrate with family & friends!

Thank you Elizabeth and Freddy for choosing me to capture your engagement and (one day soon) wedding! You are such a wonderful couple and I am beyond blessed to have couples like you to work with! - Melanie Xx
